Zinkteknik Expands

Zinkteknik Group AB, one of Europe’s leading zinc die-casting companies, is proud to announce the establishment of a new production facility in Monterrey, Mexico. The plant is scheduled to begin operations in early 2026 and marks a significant step in the company's global expansion.

Zinkteknik supplies high-volume, precision die-cast components to some of the world’s most demanding automotive and industrial customers. The decision to set up operations in Mexico follows increasing demand from both existing and new customers seeking a world-class supplier of zinc die-cast parts in North America.

MAJOR MILESTONE

EXPERTISE ON THE GROUND
To ensure a smooth start-up, Zinkteknik will send a team of experienced employees from Europe to Mexico for a three-year period. Their mission includes overseeing the set-up phase, recruiting and training local staff and management both on-site and in Europe to uphold Zinkteknik’s high standards in quality, efficiency, and innovation.

WELL – MANAGED EXPANSION
Zinkteknik has worked closely with consulting partners Business Sweden and Mexico-based Grupo Prodensa throughout the investigation, decision-making, and setup phases to ensure a successful and well-managed expansion.

STRENGTHENING GLOBAL PRESENCE
Despite global trade uncertainties, Zinkteknik remains confident in Mexico's long-term potential as a manufacturing hub. The new facility will not only bring the company closer to key customers but also strengthen its position as a global leader in zinc die-casting.
